The Yellow-billed nuthatch is a species of bird in the family Sittidae. It is found in Vietnam, Laos, and Hainan, where it inhabits subtropical and tropical moist lowland and montane forests. A small and striking nuthatch, it has bright blue upperparts and wings with gray underparts. The face is marked by a bold inky-black eyebrow and forehead, contrasted with a bright yellow bill and eye-ring.

It forages actively in pairs or small groups, often joining mixed-species flocks, and usually moves through the canopy or middle forest levels. Its diet consists mainly of insects and larvae. Conservation status: Near Threatened (NT).
